    Nice to meet you

    I photograph what
    matters most

Hi, I'm Liubov — a Washington DC photographer serving the DMV area (DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia). I specialize in family, newborn, couples, and women's portrait photography.

My sessions are calm, unhurried, and real. I don't pose people — I create space for them to just be themselves. That's where the best photos happen.

I don't like being photographed. Liubov made the session feel relaxed and completely unposed — she saw me from a different side and showed me a version of myself I hadn't seen before. I'm saying this as her husband, which is exactly why I know how she works when nobody is watching.

We have made family photo-session and was very pleased with the result. Very professional photographer. Was very kind and flexible with time. Offered great location too.

I really loved working with Luba! We did a 70s–80s inspired shoot, and she helped me with the whole look and guided me with posing throughout the shoot. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with her, which made the whole process so easy. I'm really happy with the photos and would definitely love to work with her again!

    Oksana Sereda

    Where I photograph

    Photographer in Washington DC
    & the DMV area

I'm based in Washington, DC and travel across the DMV — the District, Maryland and Northern Virginia — for family, newborn, children's and portrait photography. Sessions happen outdoors in the city and its parks, or at your home in natural light.

Family photography in DC & the DMV

Relaxed family sessions in the city or in a park near you — for growing families, extended-family visits, and yearly portraits you actually want to print.

Fall photo sessions in the city

Autumn in Washington DC is short and beautiful. Golden foliage along the Mall, Georgetown's brick streets and Virginia parks make October and early November the most requested weeks of the year — book early. See fall dates →

    Kids & newborn photography

Gentle, unhurried sessions for newborns, babies and toddlers — at home in natural light or outdoors, at your child's pace.

    Portrait photography

Women's portraits, couples and personal-brand portraits in Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia, with optional hair, makeup and styling on set.

Travel beyond the DMV is available on request. Galleries are delivered within 48 hours.
